If you happen to work in finance or accounts and you must process countless amounts of credit transfer files, then you will know the pain involved reading and following SEPA xml files!
And if you are in a medium to large company with checks and procedures in place, it can take an awful lot of time to get approval for individual SEPA xml files from your boss or partner.
We at SEPA XML GENERATOR have been approached by a couple of companies to investigate whether we could upgrade the SEPA XML GENERATOR App to allow finance professionals to merge or combine two or more SEPA Credit Transfer xml files into one file.
The advantage being time and the time of management or partners reviewing and approving countless SEPA xml files. So, we were engaged to develop a module within our SEPA XML GENERATOR App to merge and combine SEPA Credit Transfers xml files. And we eventually built two solutions based on two certain scenarios.
The software now allows a user to take multiple SEPA xml credit transfer files and merge the files into one file. The master merged or combined xml file will then contain instructions for your bank to send funds from a core bank account assigned from each file which was uploaded into the software. So, you only need to then review one file for approval and when you upload the file to your bank, you only have to upload one file and not many. Again, saving your staff time and increasing convenience.
The second merge functionality developed is the very similar to the above, but with one very important difference. When the files are merged, the first file which is in the sequence will be the ‘core’ bank account. So, regardless of the primary bank accounts detailed in file two, three, four, etc. The system will by default select the core bank account from the first SEPA xml file uploaded.
We cannot take responsibility for any merged SEPA xml Credit Transfer files, you must review all your files and double check everything. When you upload your merged file your bank will check if the file is OK, but be careful you are using the correct module above.
Also double check your files regardless.
Why not open a free SEPA XML GENERATOR account and put our software to the test, merge some of your credit transfer SEPA files and put out software to the test. You can open a trial account here.
